Paris, April 17th, 2019 – InterCloud, the European leader in Cloud connectivity as a Service, and Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Alibaba Group, announce a global technology partnership to provide enterprises with private connectivity to the Alibaba Cloud platform.
InterCloud and Alibaba Cloud have built a private and secured access between the Cloud Data Center in Frankfurt and the connectivity platform, through the Alibaba Express Connect offer. The two companies plan to expand interconnections in other locations worldwide.
Leveraging Express Connect with InterCloud and its application centric platform, enterprises will be able to make the most of their cloud applications running on Alibaba Cloud, through high performance, enhanced control and secured dedicated network access. This connectivity, backed by service level agreements and optimized at the application level, is completely isolated from the public internet. Through this collaboration, European enterprises can get a direct route into Mainland China and leverage the Alibaba Cloud infrastructure to get their business up and running.
